Have you ever caught yourself half way through a packet of biscuits or chips or sandwich… thinking… “why am I eating this? … I’m not even hungry” and then kept eating?
One of the biggest and most effective questions you can ask yourself if you are embarking on a journey to improve your relationship with food is “Why am I eating?” Many people will catch themselves asking after the fact: “Why did I just eat that?”
Better still is to pause before eating and ask the question: “Where am I hungry and why am I looking for something to eat?” We do eat for all sorts of reasons, and it is surprising how often this happens mindlessly.
This might be one of the most important modules.
